Michael Beasley, Kevin Love and Jerryd Bayless played in this Elite 24 competition. Tyreke Evans, too. Didn't even know Yauch was working on this. Fantastic interview, Capone!

if it didn't have it's lyrics censored and if it included Fight For Your Right (or anything pre Paul's Boutique). Still good, but could've been better. I'm far more impressed with the Director's Label DVDs (Music Video work of Spike Jonze, Michel Gondry, etc). Too bad sampling fees have gotten so high, because Paul's Boutique is a masterpiece that just couldn't be made in today's entertainment environment.

Mr. Beaks, that's a pretty good way to lose your black box privileges.

Wannabe, but it sounds like it should show us just how much worse it's gotten (or better $$$$$) than the kids from the movie. At least it sound like it won't have the cloying jazz soundtrack that HD had.

http://tinyurl.com/5rb7mq. UGO had an interview with Ernie Cline, the co-writer of it. He says director Kyle Newman is now in the fold and recutting the movie again to retain the cancer storyline. Cline's interview with UGO.com is here: http://tinyurl.com/67txpv

So we may see Kristen Bell in the Leia metal bikini before New Year's 2009, hopefully.

The original cut stays, that should have read...

I always thought "Awesome!..." was just one of the best concert docs I'd seen - particularly when they just start going nuts with the editing after the 1-hour mark - and hearing about this flick, I can't wait. Who knew a band featuring a would-be documentarian, the son of Israel Horovitz and a guy routinely mistaken for being related to guys named Neil and Dustin (and is married to the director of "Crossroads" - not the good, Ralph Macchio-starring one) would end up being such a great and long-lasting act?

The Mix-Up wasn't that good. It was quite boring. Paul's Boutique was a masterpiece though.
