This movie will likely come out after "Yiddish." The Coens' pattern of release tends to be Great-Goofy-Great-Goofy-etc; "A Serious Man" sounds like one of the "Goofy" films. (NOT meant as a putdown, I think their "goofy" films, like "Lebowski," are Great!)

Although I know him primarily from Spin City, I enjoy his work in anything he does, usually guest roles. I'm looking forward to seeing what he will bring to a lead character. He reminds me of the great characters who used to pop up in Preston Sturges movies. Too many actors want to be the big star, but character actors bring the greatest dimensions to film.

Out of Sight is GREAT very much in the spirit of the original Leonard book, and Lopez's one GOOD performance, that's a smart, sexy, fun caper movie plus it features a cameo from Keaton reprising his char. from Jackie Brown

Maybe I would like Out Of Sight more if I would have read the book, so I give you this (Although it's also possible that I don't like the book, because I don't like the movie anyway), but Lopez is as bad as usual in it (Just look at the scene at the end, where she isn't unsure if she should arrest Clooney or let him go and looks like he is falling asleep), not as smart as it thinks (I think the smartest idea was the gangster who shot himself when he tripped over a stair. You don't see accidents like that happen in movies. They happen in real life, but not in movies, unless there will be a huge explaination scene afterwards) and I probably missed the fun in it, because it bored the hell out of me.

I read an interview once where Clooney said he made all of that crap in the mid-90's to support him so he could do stuff he WANTED to do. Anyway, Out of Sight was very good. I have to go with Bloo. It's the only time I've ever found Jennifer Lopez charming. It's scoring a 7.2 on IMDb and an 85 on Metacritic. Seems to me lots of people like it. I thought it was a lot of fun; it's one I can watch repeatedly. And let's not forget Three Kings. Another fine under-appreciated film.

Im sorry but I must have missed the on-site investigative reporting that Clooney did in Darfur. And Uzbeckistan. And Georgia. And Pakistan. And the northern regions of Iraq. And Haiti. And Liberia. And Indo-China. And heck why not throw China in there as well? So because I somehow missed Clooney's preventative measures in all these regions of our planet, can you enlighten me as to his efforts to stop genocide? Oh wait I know - he goes on Entertainment Tonight and says, "duurrr genocide is bad. If we elect a Democrat, it will stop." If that actually worked, how come Clinton was powerless to stop it? In fact, he ushered in a new era of domestic genocide or do we already forget the purging by fire of the Branch Davidians?

Clooney did a documentary about Darfur and actually traveled there and I don't think it was to "elect a Democrat". The sad truth is 90% of Americans either don't know where Darfur is or don't give a shit about it, at least he's trying to do something. If you knew anything about Darfur you'd know the current problems started in 2003 and I don't believe Clinton was still President. And since is mass suicide considered genocide?
